How have you reacted to the new period, marked by the pandemic, that has started in 2020 ?
The unprecedented period we are experiencing has not marred the motivation of the LASER-TECH company. Our very versatile and agile structure has completed its offer by integrating new technology. We have invested in a laser welding machine.
Which innovation(s) or product(s) have you developed in 2020 and would like to highlight ?
It is a technique that allows several parts to be assembled without the use of metal and with great precision using a laser beam. The welds can be circular or flat, or for some of them with tensile strength or watertightness characteristics according to the specifications.
LASER-TECH can thus meet the needs of laser welding, marking, engraving and micro-cutting.
Could you share your personal “motto”, which accompanies you in this particular moment and reflects your entrepreneurial philosophy ?
As an entrepreneur, I have a motto from Abraham Lincoln that has been with me for many years : "The best way to produce the future is to create it". Science and technology are the two pillars to move forward, but I must be proactive and a player in the future of my company.
Comment avez-vous réagi à la période inédite, marquée par la pandémie, qui s’est ouverte cette année ?
La période inédite que nous connaissons n’a pas entaché la motivation de la société LASER-TECH. Notre structure très polyvalente et agile a complété son offre en intégrant une nouvelle technologie. Nous avons investi dans une machine de soudage au laser.
Quelle(s) innovation(s) ou produit(s) avez-vous développé en 2020 et souhaitez mettre en avant ?
C’est une technique qui permet d’assembler sans apport de métal et avec une grande précision plusieurs pièces à l’aide d’un faisceau laser. Les soudures peuvent être circulaires ou planes, ou pour certaines ayant comme caractéristiques la résistance à la traction ou l’étanchéité en fonction du cahier des charges .
Ainsi LASER-TECH peut répondre à des besoins de soudage, marquage, gravure et micro-découpe au laser.
Pourriez-vous partager votre « devise » personnelle, qui vous accompagne dans ce moment particulier et reflète votre philosophie entrepreneuriale ?
En tant qu’entrepreneur, j’ai une devise d’Abraham Lincoln qui m’accompagne depuis de nombreuses années : « La meilleure façon de produire l’avenir est de le créer ». La science et la technique constituent les deux piliers pour avancer mais je dois être proactif et acteur de l’avenir de ma société.

Die einzigartige Zeit, die wir gegenwärtig durchleben, hat die Motivation der Firma LASER-TECH in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt. Es ist unserer äußerst vielseitigen und flexiblen Struktur zu verdanken, dass wir unser Angebot durch Einführung einer neuen Technologie vervollständigen konnten. Wir haben eine Laserschweißmaschine angeschafft.
Welche Innovation(en) oder Produkt(e) haben Sie im Jahr 2020 entwickelt, die Sie hervorheben möchten ?
Diese Technik ermöglicht den höchst präzisen Zusammenbau mehrerer Teile mit Hilfe eines Laserstrahls, ohne Einsatz von Metall. Es können sowohl Rund- als auch Flachschweißnähte ausgeführt werden ; darüber hinaus besteht die Möglichkeit, Schweißnähte auszuführen, die besonderen im Pflichtenheft ausgewiesenen Eigenschaften genügen : Zugfestigkeit, Wasserdichtheit …
Somit ist LASER-TECH in der Lage, Kundenwünsche in den Bereichen Laserschweißen, Markieren, Gravieren und Mikroschneiden zu erfüllen.
Könnten Sie uns Ihr persönliches „Motto“ mitteilen, welches Sie in diesem besonderen Moment begleitet und Ihre unternehmerische Philosophie widerspiegelt ?
Folgendes Zitat von Abraham Lincoln begleitet mich seit vielen Jahren : „Die beste Möglichkeit die Zukunft vorherzusagen, ist sie zu gestalten“. Wissenschaft und Technik sind die beiden Pfeiler, auf die wir uns stützen können, um voranzukommen, aber wir müssen auch proaktiv handeln und die Zukunft des Unternehmens mitgestalten.
