Which innovation(s) or product(s) have you developed in 2020 and would like to highlight ?
As our flagship product in 2020, we have launched, among others, the new TRAUB TNL12.2. A simple transition from the old TRAUB TNL12 was at the heart of the considerations. For this second- generation model, INDEX has succeeded in further improving productivity and versatility while at the same time reducing space requirements. The com- pact sliding headstock lathe, like the larger models in the range, is now quickly converted into a fixed headstock lathe. With a spindle passage of 13mm, it stands for maximum performance in its market segment. Thanks to its enormous performance and versatility, the TNL12.2 is also ideally suited for the medical sector.
Could you share your personal “motto”, which accompanies you in this particular moment and reflects your entrepreneurial philosophy ?
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal : it is the courage to continue that counts" (Winston Church- ill). Perseverance and motivation allow us to move forward.

Nous avons voulu préserver la santé des collaborateurs, tout en restant disponibles pour l’ensemble de notre clientèle.
Quelle(s) innovation(s) ou produit(s) avez-vous développé en 2020 et souhaitez mettre en avant ?
Comme produit phare en 2020, nous avons lancé, entre autres, le nouveau TRAUB TNL12.2. Permettre une transition simple depuis l’ancienne TRAUB TNL12 a été au cœur 5 des considérations. Pour ce modèle de deuxième génération, INDEX a réussi à améliorer encore la productivité et la polyvalence tout en réduisant l’encombrement. Le tour à poupée mobile compact, tout comme les modèles plus grands de la gamme, est à présent rapidement reconverti en tour à poupée fixe. Avec un passage de broche de 13mm, il est synonyme de performances maximales dans son segment de marché. Il a été amélioré 10 à un tel point que le terme « innovation » correspond beaucoup mieux au résultat obtenu. Grâce à ses performances et sa polyvalence énormes, la TNL12.2 est parfaitement adaptée aussi pour le secteur médical.

Wir wollten gleichzeitig die Gesundheit unserer Mitarbeiter schützen und für alle unsere Kunden da sein.
Welche Innovation(en) oder Produkt(e) haben Sie im Jahr 2020 entwickelt, die Sie hervorheben möchten ?
2020 haben wir unter anderem ein neues Vorzeigeprodukt – den neuen Langdrehautomaten TRAUB TNL12.2 – auf den Markt gebracht. Es war uns ein großes Anliegen, den Übergang vom Vorgängermodell TRAUB TNL12 möglichst reibungslos zu gestalten. Beim Modell der zweiten Generation ist es INDEX gelungen, die Produktivität und Vielseitigkeit weiter zu verbessern und gleichzeitig den Platzbedarf zu reduzieren. Der kompakte Drehautomat mit beweglichem Spindelstock wurde in einen Drehautomaten mit festem Spindelstock umgebaut, was dem Standard der größeren Modelle der Baureihe entspricht. Dank einem Spindeldurchlass von 13 mm bietet diese Maschine eine hervorragende Leistung in ihrem Marktsegment. Tatsächlich wurde der Langdrehautomat dermaßen verbessert, dass das erzielte Ergebnis einer „Innovation“ entspricht. Dank ihrer enormen Leistungsfähigkeit und Vielseitigkeit ist die TNL12.2 auch für den medizinischen Bereich bestens geeignet.
