How have you reacted to the new period, marked by the pandemic, that has started in 2020 ?
Within a week, all our training courses and customer appointments were cancelled. We sent everyone home and introduced teleworking. We have not escaped the reduction in working hours, but we have organised ourselves so as not to put developers out of work in order to finalise ongoing projects and develop new products. In addition, Alphacam and MW-DNC support was maintained throughout this period.
Which innovation(s) or product(s) have you developed in 2020 and would like to highlight ?
We have been able to improve many Alphacam tools and create new functionalities. We have also worked a lot on the bases of the postprocessors and modules to gain in power and customisation in order to respond even better to our customers’ demands. We have created for NCSIMUL the digital twin of the Recomatic CT501 machine in order to offer it with our brand new postprocessor. Today, our customers can program this machine in its entirety and simulate/check the NC code before machining.
Could you share your personal “motto”, which accompanies you in this particular moment and reflects your entrepreneurial philosophy ?
We have to consider this particular period as a great challenge. We will have succeeded in overcoming it and will only come out of it stronger. For example, the organisation of the company during this situation has been shaken up daily and has called into question subjects that were not relevant for the moment (teleworking, ...). Some elements are very positive.
Comment avez-vous réagi à la période inédite, marquée par la pandémie, qui s’est ouverte cette année ?
En l’espace d’une semaine, toutes nos formations et nos rendez-vous clientèles ont été annulés. Nous avons renvoyé tout le monde à la maison et avons mis en place le télétravail. Nous n’avons pas échappé au RHT, mais nous nous sommes organisés pour ne pas faire chômer les développeurs afin de finaliser les projets en cours et développer des nouveautés dans nos produits. De plus le support Alphacam et MW-DNC a été maintenu durant toute cette période.
Quelle(s) innovation(s) ou produit(s) avez-vous développé en 2020 et souhaitez mettre en avant ?
Nous avons pu améliorer beaucoup d’outils Alphacam et créer de nouvelles fonctionnalités. Nous avons également beaucoup travaillé les bases de ne postprocesseurs et modules pour gagner en puissance et en personnalisation afin de répondre encore mieux aux demandes de nos clients.
Pour NCSIMUL, nous avons créé le jumeau numérique de la machine Recomatic CT501 afin de le proposer avec notre tout nouveau postprocesseur. Aujourd’hui, nos clients peuvent programmer au complet cette machine et simuler/vérifier le code CN avant l’usinage.
Pourriez-vous partager votre « devise » personnelle, qui vous accompagne dans ce moment particulier et reflète votre philosophie entrepreneuriale ?
Je pense qu’il faut prendre cette période particulière comme un grand challenge. Nous aurons réussi à le surmonter et n’en sortirons que plus forts. Par exemple, l’organisation de l’entreprise durant cette situation a été bousculée quotidiennement et a remis en question des sujets qui n’étaient pour l’instant pas d’actualité (télétravail, …). On en retire des éléments très positifs.
Wie haben Sie auf die neue, von der Pandemie geprägte Periode reagiert, die im Jahr 2020 begonnen hat ?
Innerhalb einer Woche wurden sämtliche Schulungen und Kundentermine abgesagt. Wir haben daraufhin alle Mitarbeiter nach Hause geschickt und die Homeoffice-Arbeit eingeführt. Wir waren gezwungen, einige Mitarbeiter auf Kurzarbeit zu setzen, aber wir haben uns so organisiert, dass die Entwickler weiterarbeiten konnten, um laufende
Projekte abzuschließen und neue Produkte zu entwickeln. Darüber hinaus wurde der Support-Service für Alphacam und MW-DNC während des gesamten Zeitraums aufrechterhalten.
Welche Innovation(en) oder Produkt(e) haben Sie im Jahr 2020 entwickelt, die Sie hervorheben möchten ?
Es ist uns gelungen, zahlreiche Alphacam-Tools zu verbessern und neue Funktionalitäten zu schaffen. Wir haben darüber hinaus viel an den Datenbanken unserer Postprozessoren und Module gearbeitet, um deren Leistung zu verbessern und sie besser an die jeweiligen
Kundenanforderungen anpassen zu können. Für NCSIMUL haben wir den digitalen Zwilling des Recomatic- Modells CT501 geschaffen, um ihn mit unserem neuen Postprozessor anbieten zu können. Heute sind unsere Kunden in der Lage, diese Maschine vollständig zu programmieren und den NC-Code vor der Bearbeitung zu simulieren bzw. zu überprüfen.
Könnten Sie uns Ihr persönliches „Motto“ mitteilen, welches Sie in diesem besonderen Moment begleitet und Ihre unternehmerische Philosophie widerspiegelt ?
Ich denke, dass wir diese besondere Zeit als eine große Herausforderung betrachten müssen.
Wir werden es nicht nur schaffen, sie zu überstehen, sondern auch für die Zukunft besser gewappnet zu sein. Diese Situation hat beispielsweise die Organisation des Unternehmens täglich auf den Kopf gestellt und Themen aufgeworfen, die noch nicht aktuell waren (Homeoffice usw.). Daraus haben sich einige durchaus positive Aspekte ergeben, die wir in Zukunft nutzbringend einsetzen werden.
